Spring Challenger Baseball 2025

Any individual with a physical or intellectual challenge may participate. If an individual is able participate in the traditional Little League Baseball or Softball program with reasonable accommodations they are required do so. The Little League Challenger Division accommodates players ages 4-to-18; or up to age 22 if still enrolled in school.

The fundamental goal of the Little League Challenger Division is to provide an environment where participants can learn and enjoy the game of baseball in an environment structured to their abilities.
Buddies and/or parents are on the field to assist players in the areas of batting, fielding, and base running when necessary.

Spring 2025 Baseball

Tball is available for players who are 4 years old as of 3/2/2025 but do not turn 6 prior to 12/31/2025. Lower Sussex Little League will assign players to a team at the conclusion of registration on or around 3/1/2025. At this level players will need at least a glove and helmet of their own but may need a bat. Bats must have the label of "USA BASEBALL". Optional equipment is cleats.

Instructional Baseball is available for players who are 5 years old by 9/1/2025 and have already completed one season of tball or 6 years old by 9/1/2025but do not turn 9 prior to 8/31/2025. Lower Sussex Little League will assign players to a team at the conclusion of registration on or around 3/1/2025.
Players will need a glove, helmet and bat of their own. Optional equipment is cleats.

Minor Baseball is available for players who are 8 years old by 9/1/2025 but do not turn 11 prior to 8/31/2025. Lower Sussex Little League will host tryouts on 3/1/2025.
Information will be provided via email and Social Media posts in the coming weeks.
Players will need a glove, helmet, bat and cleats of their own.

Major Baseball is available for players who are 10 years old by 9/1/2025 but do not turn 13 prior to 8/31/2025. Lower Sussex Little League will host tryouts on 3/1/2025.

Jr/Sr Baseball Registration is available for players who are 13 years old by 9/1/2025 but do not turn 17 prior to 8/31/2025. Lower Sussex Little League will host tryouts on During the month of March.
Information will be provided via email and Social Media posts in the coming weeks.
Players will need a glove, helmet, bat and cleats of their own. BBCOR bats, wood bats and metal cleats are permitted at this level. No PINE tar on bats.
